Sailability

Sailability at the CYC

The Canberra Yacht Club offers Sailability, an international program to assist people of all-abilities to get into sailing. This is by providing an additional level of support, an established network of volunteers, and resources to assist participants. Equipment is provided to assist those with limited mobility to get into and out of boats, with modified docking areas that are accessible and affordable options to participate. Different types of boats are provided including the Hansa Class that are easy to sail. If you have a disability and wish to experience “Freedom on the Water”, you are especially welcome typically Sunday morning. Find out more and Book Online here.

27 Jul 2024, 7:31 am  A gentle start was delivered to those competing in the 2024 Noakes Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race. Fifty-one yachts assembled on the start line before the yachts crawled across Sydney Harbour and north up the Tasman Sea.
The potential impact of light wind conditions
